In 1922 Richard Klinger designed the first piston valve using a cylindrical piston and two elastic, easily replaceable rings, instead of the sealing system of conventional globe valves.

Thanks to ongoing research and development, KLINGER has significantly improved the sealing ring technology, constantly increasing the level of its performance.

All the valves manufactured by KLINGER (piston valves, ball valves and butterfly valves and district heating valves) are ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified for quality and environmental management respectively.
