SHIM Kits are used in any mechanical assembly to compensate for misalignments caused by the sum of all the clearances and natural tolerances of each element of which it is composed.
The kit consists of countless pieces of different thicknesses that can be easily removed until the desired result is achieved. Thanks to the "Water-Jet" technology, these parts can be built to drawing, with different shapes and materials.
